I, NARCISSUS Rocío Flores (Natalia Oreiro), a university sociology professor, is writing a book on modern narcissism. To better understand her "subject," she decides to study it from the inside out and chooses Máximo Rey (Adrián Suar), a charismatic plastic surgeon, as her case study.
Under a false identity, Rocío poses as a patient interested in a cosmetic touch-up, aiming to observe and analyze Máximo without being discovered. However, the consultations quickly turn into dates where he deploys all his charm. Determined to maintain the connection without falling into his game, Rocío invents increasingly absurd excuses to keep him at bay.
When Máximo discovers he has fallen in love with her, "the experiment" spins out of control. Will Rocío be able to complete her research without becoming a victim of her own plan?
I, Narcissus is a screwball comedy. The film satirizes the obsession with image, the male ego, and the boundaries of desire.
